US-headquartered crane sales and rental giant Bigge will be happy to discuss all things cranes and construction with those interested in its bare lease, crane sales, crane and rigging, transportation, pre-planning, project management, and engineering services. Bigge has over 1,500 cranes consisting of truck cranes, all-terrain cranes, rough terrain cranes, crawler cranes, tower cranes, boom trucks, and hoists.

German crane sales and rental firm BKL will be at a new stand location outside, sharing a stand that’s over 350 square metres, with Italian self-erecting tower crane manufacturer Cattaneo. There it will present a range of construction cranes, mobile cranes, mobile construction cranes and crane services. This is the 15th time BKL will have exhibited in Bauma and, as such, it says its “participation will be a big one”!

The Böcker AK 48e truck crane
German truck crane manufacturer Böcker will use Bauma to launch its new electric AK 48e truck crane. According to Böcker the fully electric steel-aluminium truck crane can operate completely electrically in crane and platform mode, plus it can travel to the construction site powered exclusively by electricity utilising a Mercedes eActros. Also on display will be the other electric solutions – including its AK 37e truck crane, its AHK 36e trailer crane, and its Junior 24e inclined lift – all of which are powered by a 230 V electric motor. This means they can now be powered by connection to a normal household socket enabling permanent electric operation on any building. The new developments operate with optimised consumption and require significantly less energy than comparable devices, says Böcker. Their strong battery capacity also ensures long self-sufficient use even without an external power supply. As a hybrid, the 230 V truck crane AK 37e can operate either in plug- in mode or use the truck's conventional PTO combustion engine for power supply. Böcker will also be offering

The company also has its own range of compact crawler cranes, plus it offers operator training and equipment maintenance services.

a wide range of trailers including: the 10-axle PL2 semi low loader double extender (3+7); the 6-axle PL2 Semi Low Loader; the 3-axle Semi Low Loader with Eco Ramp; 3+5 PL2 HD Dolly Low Loader; and the 3-axle PL2 HD Low Loader.
