SHOW REVIEW Ӏ INTERMAT 2024

Liebherr had one of the largest outdoor stands at the show showcasing a wide selection of equipment and technology including five cranes. These included: a 125 K fast erecting tower crane – which is the Liebherr says is the largest fast- erector on the market; Liebherr’s most powerful mobile construction crane, the

optimised MK 140-5.1 which can be used as a trolley jib crane and in luffing mode; an LTM 1300-6.4 (previously the LTM 1300-6.3). The new nomenclature reflects the crane’s new design and the inclusion of its new LICCON3 control system; Liebherr’s new 150 tonne capacity LTR 1150 telescopic crawler

crane – which can be transported on low-loaders complete with crawler carriers with a width of just 3.5 metres; and, finally, the LTC 1050-3.1E which features an electric motor in addition to its conventional power unit. See video of cranes on Liebherr’s stand here: https://shorturl.at/lFj9j

Chinese manufacturer Zoomlion showcased two cranes at Intermat 2024: the ZCT1000V552.1 telescopic crawler crane and the R135-8RA flat-top tower crane. The 100 tonne capacity ZCT1000V552.1 is equipped with intelligent cloud services, says Zoomlion, whilst the R135-8RA offers remote control and adjustment. The flat-top was the only one on display at the show. See a video of Zoomlion’s stand here: https://shorturl.at/oWNNC
