GANTREX SECURES PORT OF LIMBURG PROJECT

the Albert Canal on the former Ford site in Genk, is set to transform container terminal operations when it becomes operational in 2025. This facility will focus on container handling and transport, offering a total capacity of 353,000 TEU, making it one of the most advanced inland terminals in the region. As part of the project, Gantrex will
deliver and install a crane rail system tailored for two RMG barge cranes of the Port of Limburg; including the supply and installation of 786 meters of A100 type rail, fastened on 262 steel plates using 2620 RailLok W15 clips, along with 792 meters of RailLok MK9.0 Pads and 27,600 kg of Gantrex C35 Cement-Based Grout. “What truly made the difference in securing this project was the engineering skills and experience of the Gantrex team.
