FROM PATIENT PRAISE TO AWARD WINNER

Could it be you in 2027?

This year’s Customer Award helped show just how highly patients value the services delivered by community pharmacy. Despite all the challenges the sector faces, the comments received showed that time and time again, pharmacies across the country continue to show up and do all they can to put patients first and provide the highest levels of care to the communities they serve. The judges received over 1,300 votes from patients which, given this award is in its infancy, is outstanding. We wanted to end this issue by sharing some of the amazing comments we had received for all the nominees and to tell you how you could put yourself in the running for the Customer Award next year.

Could you be the winner next year?

The judges are already on the look out for the Customer Award winner of 2027. It is easy to put your pharmacy forward for the award. Simply scan the QR code below and we will provide you with a link that you can share with customers so they can vote for you. Our judges are already looking forward to reading the comments from patients at other pharmacies about the service and care they receive.

M Farren Pharmacy, Lennoxtown

Part of the M Farren Pharmacy group, this branch serves the community of Lennoxtown and is led by Pharmacy Manager, Kirsty Cormie.

“Always friendly, always helpful and reliable. When you are dealing with complicated health issues it's so reassuring to have such a fantastic team in my pharmacy.” Nicola Grieve

“Our community is incredibly fortunate to have M Farren Pharmacy. This dedicated team consistently goes above and beyond mere prescription fulfillment, embodying the true spirit of patient centered care. Pharmacists and staff alike are known for their compassionate approach, always taking the time to listen, provide expert health advice and ensure every customer understands their treatment plan without an appointment or a long wait time. No hesitation in voting for them.” Rosslyn Hay

“My elderly mum had a fall outside the pharmacy and the staff went above and beyond to comfort her and get her the help she needed. They phoned the ambulance, they came out with a First Aid kit, they went to ask the local GP to come out and check on my mum. They then took her inside the pharmacy whilst waiting on the ambulance to arrive despite it being their lunch hour when the pharmacy was due to be closed. I then decided to take her straight to the hospital and the staff kindly phoned the ambulance service to cancel the ambulance. Since then they have checked on my mum every time she is in the pharmacy and have arranged for her prescriptions to be delivered in bad weather. Outstanding service and care.” David McKegney

“An amazing pharmacy with the kindest staff who go above and beyond to serve our community. They were amazing with my elderly parents and really showed care and compassion at the most difficult time of our lives. Keep up the good work.” Laura Townsey

“I have nothing but praise for this team. They are always happy to help with great professional advice. I’ve had a few situations over the years where I’ve needed advice about serious things and they have been amazing, putting me at ease and sorting things out for me right away. Even though they are always so busy and under pressure they are great with customers and very professional. I have used this pharmacy for over ten years and always had great service.” Elaine McNameel
