PATIENTS HAVE
THEIR SAY Campbeltown Pharmacy Crowned First Customer Award Winner
This year saw the introduction of a new Customer Award, which gives patients the opportunity to vote for their local pharmacy. Placing patients at the heart of the awards provides the opportunity for pharmacies to be celebrated by the people who use them day in, day out. This year’s winner was Campbeltown Pharmacy. The judges were inundated with comments about why this branch were such worthy winners.
Syed Ali, Zain Younis and Mohammed Idreece Khan took over the reins at Campbeltown Pharmacy just over a year ago. During that time they have introduced a plethora of new services at the branch which has transformed care in the remote community.
The difference the trio have made to patients shone through in every vote and comment the judges received. In fact their impact has been so huge that more than 550 votes were received for them in total, a feat made even more impressive by the fact that the pharmacy is located in one of the most remote towns in Scotland.
What came across time and time again was their friendly and compassionate approach and their ability to put every patient at ease. Other areas highlighted for praise included the fact that the pharmacy consistently went above and beyond what was expected of them and provided an extremely efficient service to patients. The pharmacy has become a real asset to the town.
