Luceco Lights Muller Expansion Project in Telford
Muller has recently completed an extensive expansion project building a chilled produce manufacturing facility in Telford. The project has doubled the size of Muller’s current Telford site, enabling them to increase capacity with three new state-of-the-art production lines, energy efficient cooling facilities and automated warehouse.
Luceco LED luminaires have been installed in many areas including the cooling tunnel, dispatch, goods in and general plant areas, the installation work carried out by Lorne Stewart Engineering based in Birmingham. In many cases, the luminaires were required to be IP65 rated, robust and capable of DALI dimming with connection to a central battery system.
Ceres HighBay luminaires were selected for the principle production areas. IP65 rated, Ceres benefits from a computer designed die-cast aluminium housing with vortex cooling for maximum LED chip performance and provides over 70,000 hours of operational life and a luminaire efficacy up to of 147 Llm/cW. Available with on/off presence detection options, often a requirement in commercial and industrial applications, Ceres offers 60, 90 and 120-degree lens variations.
Platinum Mini Downlighters lit non industrial spaces such as corridors, circulation areas and staff rooms
and features easy fit positive locating swing out tabs for quick installation. Platinum Mini and Ceres are both ideal for use with sensors and lighting controls to further improve energy efficiency and has dimmable and emergency options available. Luceco Wireless Lighting Controls is an intelligent wireless lighting system requiring no complicated electrical installation and no limit to the number of luminaires that can be controlled and is compatible with all driver types including DSI, DALI and 1-10V. Other features include presence and daylight detection, energy monitoring and reporting.
