High uniform illuminance levels and balanced luminance levels on walls and ceilings will help staff to perform their job as effectively as possible. Wet Areas can be used to describe buildings such as plant rooms and stores, basically a room where there is increased risk of ingress of water or dust to the luminaire. High colour temperature, IP rated luminaires need to provide task lighting in the most practical way possible in these semi harsh lit environments.
