The Independent Review Panel has published its second and final report into the Police Federation’s handling of the 2023 pensions challenge. Building on the first phase, this report sets out strategic recommendations
to reform the Federation’s campaigning, culture, and governance, aiming to restore trust and modernise its operations
The first phase report looked retrospectively at the issues that led to the judgment, the second phase is forward-looking. It sets out a strategic vision for the future of the Federation, offering a comprehensive set of recommendations across three critical areas: campaigning, culture, and governance. These recommendations aim to modernize the Federation, enhance its effectiveness, and rebuild trust among its members.
