NEWS POLICE PODCAST

The POLICE podcast from the Police Federation of England and Wales is currently producing specific content on issues impacting our members and the police service

The Police Federation is working on more podcast episodes which will be of benefit to all our members. Recent episodes include our ever popular ‘Pension FAQs’, which should be an essential listening for all police officers who would like an overview of the current pension arrangements and how they relate right across the board – from those officers at the start of a policing career through to those planning their retirement. We’ve also recorded a special edition which brings you up to date with PFEW’s submission of the Pay Positioning Document 2025 to the Police Remuneration Review Body (PRRB). The Police Federation withdrew from the PRRB in July

2021 following concerns about the pay review body’s independence as the Home Office set the parameters for what the PRRB could consider and there was no requirement for the government to accept its recommendations. You can find more about what we discussed on our podcast channel. You can listen to all the episodes of the POLICE podcast on most podcasting platforms. Simply search for POLICE: the Podcast from the Police Federation of England and Wales.

The POLICE podcast is a valuable resource worth exploring. Is there is a particular episode or topic that you find especially engaging or helpful and

would like us to cover it? Please reach out to us with comments or questions via email podcast@polfed.org.
