Brown Recycling keeps customers happy with Waste Logics

BROWN RECYCLING has been successfully offering waste management services including skip hire, trade waste bins and FELs, around Staffordshire and beyond for over 80 years.

With four sites processing construction, industrial and commercial waste, dry recyclables and scrap metal, Brown Recycling’s growing fleet is 40 vehicles strong today. Behind the company’s success is a family team that is passionate about delivering the highest standards of customer service, and that’s why a decision was made to automate as many processes as possible across the business.

Brown Recycling had previously used a combination of paper-based records and disparate software solutions, but with business growth and increasing compliance pressures, the team decided to adopt Waste Logics, a cloud-based waste management software. With plenty of features that save time, increase productivity, support growth and help win new contracts.

Customer service improves with Waste Logics

The customer has always been king

at Brown Recycling, and the software has simplified customer relationship management (CRM) on a number of levels. By providing greater visibility of the business across all departments, it’s easier for Brown Recycling’s team to visualise, analyse and interpret data (from the past, present and projected future) and use that information to provide excellent customer service.

The KPI reporting dashboard provides a single view of all activity. The software flags any anomalies and enables the team to respond proactively to limit risk, alleviate problems and add value.

For each client, Brown Recycling can now pull off regular detailed reports which assist with the identification and resolution of any issues efficiently. Through a customer portal, Brown Recycling’s clients have access to site waste management reports detailing waste produced, destination and insight to maximise recycling percentages. Easy- to-read CO2

charts also help to visualise

carbon savings created by diverting waste away from landfill.

The easy to use ‘Tally PO’ feature enables Brown Recycling to track the spend,

tonnage and number of movements on a client’s particular purchase order,

“Waste Logics integrates all of our different business lines which means we have one solution that fits all. The reporting functions enable us to analyse all aspects of the business and the flexibility of the data allows for bespoke reporting for internal management, different user groups and for our customers. The user-friendly interface means that we have had minimal issues training our staff to use the system correctly which made implementing it relatively straightforward. The robustness of the software is allowing us to move to a paperless solution that still satisfies our customers’ needs for information and compliance. The team at Waste Logics is on hand to help support our growth and take hold of new technologies.”
