The British Photography Awards returned this year with a record number of shortlisted entries across 19 categories. Open to UK-based photographers and Brits abroad, the competition raises money for 20 UK charities – photographers pay to enter and support one charity per image. Among the winners was Hugo Healy’s Coastal Peaks, which supported Help for Heroes and secured the People’s Choice Award in the drone category. Healy used a Mavic 2 Pro to take the spectacular image at sunrise at Eystrahorn mountain in Iceland. He said: “The daylight slowly emerged until it flooded the scene with golden rays, striking the mountain peaks and creating dramatic contrast.” To view the full list of winners, visit britishphotographyawards.org
