elcome to the May/June issue of Business Traveller. It is a great pleasure to be back, and I hope you are reading this either on your travels or as you plan your next trip. At the time of writing, the rules are carefully and gradually being relaxed, and we have some prospect of being able to resume our lives this summer. No one wants to tempt fate, though – we will all


be very cautious, I’m sure, not only in negotiating this new world, but also in making predictions. First, an explanation. Te past year has been extremely difficult for everyone and with the passenger


fleets of most major airlines grounded and hotels closed for long periods, we at Panacea Media took the decision to suspend publication of Business Traveller UK magazine aſter the April 2020 issue, only beginning again with our September/October 2020 edition. Tat was followed with a November-January issue but owing to the restrictions in place we then had to pause publication again. Now that lockdown is easing, we can produce this May/June 2021 issue and we hope to return to


our normal printing schedule with issues for July/August, September, October, November and December/January. We have sent notes individually to our loyal subscribers explaining how we have rolled on subscriptions so that everyone gets all of the issues they have paid for, and I’d like to thank them for their unwavering support. I hope the next few months are happy ones for all of us as we re-establish connections with friends, colleagues and loved ones around the world. Stay in touch.
