CVUSD St udent s cr eat e AWARD-WINNING ar twor k!

Twelve Chino Valley USD students earned first, second or third place or a distinguishable recognition during the 2020 "Water is Life" Student Poster Contest hosted by the Inland Empire Utilities Agency. Using the theme "Water is Life," students in grades K-12 residing in IEUA's serviceable area were invited to create an art poster depicting various water uses, ways to use water more efficiently, or topics that encourage water conservation. Recognition was awarded for the different grade level categories of K-5; 6-8, and 9-12. Of the twelve CVUSD students across all categories who received an award or recognition, two were selected to be featured in the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California's 2021 calendar. Congratulations to Chino Hills High School's Amy Esparza and Armando Mora for receiving this incredible honor! The District is proud to celebrate all our wonderful artists who participated in the contest.
