ARSHALL ES TEN SCHOOL SITES RECEIVE SOLAR PANELS


Adding to our four teen campuses that al ready harness solar energy wi th solar panels, ten new campuses were the recipients of solar panels this past summer for a total of 24 CVUSD schools that contr ibute to the CVUSD energy and water conservat ion program. Many solar panels do double duty, also act ing as needed shade for students on campus and in the parking areas. To date, CVUSD's cumulat ive conservat ion effor ts have avoided costs for ut i l i t ies by more than $2 mi l l ion each year.
