Congratulations to Don Lugo High School senior Brianna Cabrera, who was inducted to the Inland Valley Sports Hall of Fame in March.


Brianna, a pole vaulter, was named a CIF Southern Section Champion of Character last summer. The daughter of Don Lugo High School Principal Kimberly Cabrera and Stephen Cabrera Sr., she has been actively involved in track and field since her freshman year, and became an all-CIF pole vaulter in 2017 with a fifth-place finish in Division 3. Brianna has also competed in all-star cheerleading with Cheerforce OC, winning National Championship titles.


With several college options in front of her, Briana is considering attending Western Oregon University in the fall to study Psychology with a minor in Special Education and Rehabilitation.
