Our winter stocks are running low so the wildlife hospital is now appealing for sheets, duvet cases, and towels (all sizes) which are vital for the animals in our care.


While the sunny weather has put smiles on the faces of most , it also means the wildlife centre?

We are now calling on the public to help them help wildlife by donat ing much-needed sheets and towels.


So far this year Stapeley Grange has taken in hundreds of young wild animals, including f ledglings, nest lings and juveniles.


In order to prevent the spread of disease, f resh towels and sheets are required throughout the durat ion of an animal?


stay, and with the inf lux of furred and feathered visitors over the last few months these items are needed more than ever.

Whenever possible we wash and reuse them, but we have to be so careful about prevent ing the spread of disease, so sadly in some cases we can only use a towel or sheet once.


This spring we?


animals come through our doors and the supplies of sheets and towels our generous supporters have previously donated are beginning to dry up, so we?


We urge people to have a look in their cupboards to see if they have any going spare that can help wildlife.
