also been able to go out on numerous releases and learn about the habitats required for those species. Working closely with the vet interns has allowed us to take part in some necropsies and learn about the anatomy of some species and learn more about the cause of death. Overall this placement has been a really posit ive and insight ful look into Brit ish wildlife and I have been very lucky to be here.

Working at Stapeley Grange for my placement year has been a great experience, I have gained so much knowledge and insight f rom interact ing and helping the various species here. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to have had worked in this posit ion, and have enjoyed every moment ! The best experience for me is seeing the animals you have cared for being released back into the wild, as it really hits home the sense of accomplishment that being part of the Stapeley team has given me.
