THE COVID SHUTDOWN OPENS DOORS FOR THE STUTTERING FOUNDATION

Fox 57 Columbia, SC

KAGS Bryan, TX

KDKA Pittsburgh, PA

KTNV Las Vegas, NV

WSAZ Huntington, WV

Lakeland PBS Bemidji, MN

The 2020 Covid lockdown provided a glimmer of benefit to the Stuttering Foundation this year, as Zoom-powered interviews became the new standard in television news. Doors were opened to speak about stuttering over multiple television markets, where the traditional, in-studio interview format was no longer required.

WJBF Augusta, GA

Stuttering Foundation president Jane Fraser was invited to speak on myriad topics related to stuttering over the past several months by local television stations across the country.

Topics included the Stuttering Foundation’s “Summer Reading List,” stuttering resources, celebrating National Stuttering Awareness Week, tips for teachers and parents, facts about stuttering, and its causes and treatment.
