Hi everyone! My name is Everett. I am 8 years old. I live in New Jersey. I like to play the drums. I’ve learned cool songs like 7 Nation Army, Come Together, and Believer. Playing the drums makes me feel more confident. My favorite food is ice cream. Mint chocolate chip is the best! The speech tool that works best for me is stretching. It helps me slow down and start back up. I like to play with Legos and go to STREAM class. We learn architecture and robotics in that class. I am proud of myself because I gave a presentation to my class on stuttering. During remote learning, I hang out with my friends on Google Hangouts. When I talk the computer messes up my speech and the person that I’m talking to thinks that I’m stuttering when I’m not. That can make me feel frustrated, but my friends know that I stutter so they think it’s ok. I want them to know that I’m getting better, so they think it’s not a big thing anymore.
