Specific requirements


Minimum criteria to apply for MU GAA Scholarship is to represent your county at minor grade upwards, e.g. U21 & Senior. > To be eligible to play under HE rules, please see www.hegaa.ie


MUGAA Club in 2016-2017 > Total of 14 teams > Men’s Football Participation in O’Byrne Cup competition


> Men’s Football teams include Senior, Intermediate, Junior, Fresher One and Fresher Two


> Hurling teams include Senior (Fitzgibbon Cup) & League Division One, Fresher League and Championship Division One. Participation in Walsh Cup competition


> Ladies Football teams include Senior (O’Connor Cup) & League Division One, Fresher One & Two Championship

Specific requirements > Hold a handicap of Scratch or better for men / 2 or better for women


> Hold an excellent profile of performance at National & International events at U18 level or beyond


> Hold a ranking on WAGR > Have a desire to reach the pinnacle of the amateur game
