Avondale hosts exciting events throughout the year to encourage community engagement, embrace cultural diversity, and promote family-friendly activities for all ages. Events are FREE unless otherwise noted.


TRES RIOS NATURE FESTIVAL


Ignite your calling for the outdoors at the annual Tres Rios Nature Festival. This event is a celebration of plants, animals, and ecology. Kid-friendly activities, along with educational booths, entertainment, and a variety of vendors makes for a great event for the entire family to enjoy.


SATURDAY & SUNDAY FEBRUARY


24& 2510 AM - 3 PM FAMILY CAMPOUT


Sleep under the stars at the park! Adventures include lawn games, family activities, crafts, and a showing of Disney’s Angel’s in the Outfield. Dinner and light breakfast are included. Bring your tent, blankets, flashlights, and enjoy the outdoors with family and friends. Space is limited, register early! Fee $50 per family of 4, additional family members $10 each.

Bring the whole family and join us for the feature presentation, Angels in the Outfield (PG), at the park. Bring chairs or a blanket to sit on.
