GLOBAL YOUTH SERVICE DAY PROJECT (AGES 13-17)
Attention Teens! Get involved in your community and join other teens in Avondale for a fun filled day of volunteerism and service in April 2024.
Staff and student leaders from Avondale have developed a dynamic event for teens to enjoy. This is just one example of Avondale's Teen Leadership & Youth Services programs, which help prepare young people to meet the challenges of adulthood and to succeed in the future. The project will also help to preserve the environment and increase awareness about sustainability.

AVONDALE YOUTH ADVISORY COMMISSION (AYAC) (AGES 13–18) Youth have a voice in Avondale! Join the AYAC to help promote positive change in Avondale through action and involvement. AYAC helps shape the future by providing input to city leaders, planning community service projects and attending leadership conferences.
AYAC meets at AZ Complete Health Avondale Resource Center the second and fourth Monday of each month at 6 pm.
JUNIOR SERVICE-LEARNING CLUB (GRADES 6TH- 8TH) The Avondale Junior Service-Learning Club is a great way for youth to learn valuable leadership skills and enjoy the unique opportunity to serve the community alongside other students from schools in the area. This is a fun and exciting opportunity to coordinate activities that support and serve the community while inspiring civic engagement and action. Participants will engage in monthly service projects based around family, school the community and much more!
Junior Service-Learning Club meets on the second Wednesday of the month at AZ Complete Health Avondale Resource Center at 4 pm.
