West Bloomfi eld, Mich.-based Waltonwood Senior Living announced the completion of a million-dollar renovation project at its Waltonwood Lakeside community located near Detroit. The overhaul included new fi nishes, furniture, draperies, accessories, and artwork, as well as a remodeled café, new sig- nage, and new environmentally friendly light fi xtures across 60,000 square feet of the com- munity. The community, which off ers inde- pendent living, assisted living, and memory care, hosted a grand opening earlier this year to introduce the remodeled look.
Watercrest Senior Living Group, based in Vero Beach, Fla., announced the ground- breaking of Watercrest Fort Mill Assisted Living and Memory Care, located in Fort Mill, S.C. The community, expected to open in early 2020, will off er 75 assisted living and 32 memory care residences. The company also announced the development of Watercrest Macon, planned for ground- breaking in July 2019 and completion in fall 2020. The community, located in Macon, Ga., will feature 75 assisted living and 32 memory care residences.
