Atlanta, Ga.-based Thrive Senior Living an- nounced the launch of artifi cial intelligence in all of its communities in 2019. The com- pany tapped Aiva Health to launch an inte- grated technology platform in its communi- ties using Google Home, Amazon Echo, and smart speakers.
Watercrest Senior Living Group, based in Vero Beach, Fla., announced plans for a joint venture with The St. Joe Company to bring a new assisted living and memory care community to Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. It’s expected that the community will off er 107 residences, with 75 for assisted living and 32 for memory care. Construction is expected to begin in 2019.

Affinity Living, based in Hickory, N.C., praised associates for 2018 achievements at the company’s annual meeting in December. Thirty-six communities received awards for outstanding service to their residents during Hurricane Florence and the company also presented awards to one executive director from each of the company’s divisions.

She has a background as a licensed clin- ical social worker and more than a decade of experience as an owner/operator in memory care.
