Family Dive-In Movie Friday, June 29 and Saturday, August 11 at the Bellflower Aquatic Center


7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Fee: $5 per person


Father Daughter Dance


Saturday, July 14 at Simms Park 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.


Fee: $10 per couple ($5 additional child)


Cool off on a hot summer night with a Dive In Movie! All ages are welcome to relax in the pool while watching a movie. No outside flotation devices are allowed, except Coast Guard approved lifejackets. This activity will be held TWICE this summer! For more information call the Aquatic Center at 562-866-2015. Participating adults must be accompanied by one paid child participant. Movies subject to change. Day- of registration accepted, but pre-registration ends one week before each movie.


Join us for our third annual Father Daughter Dance hosted by Bellflower’s Parks and Recreation Department. Ages preschool through eighth grade are invited to join us with their Father, Grandfather, Uncle, etc. The night will consist of music, dancing, photobooth, games and more! For more information call 562-866-7510. Participating adults must be accompanied by one paid child participant. Registration Deadline: Thursday, July 5.


Mom Prom


Saturday, July 28 at Simms Park 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.


Fee: $10 per couple ($5 additional child)


Join us for our second annual Mom Prom hosted by Bellflower’s Parks & Recreation Department! Ages preschool through eighth grade are invited to join us with their Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, etc. The night will consist of music, dancing, photobooth, games and more! Penny Carnival Thursday, August 2 at Thompson Park 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.


Fee: Only pennies for each activity.


Children ages 3-13 participate in carnival style games for fun or tasty prizes. This annual event will return many of the most popular booth games and activities like the ping pong toss for live goldfish, face painting booth, money ring toss, and the candy sand booth. A free arts & crafts area, refreshment booth, and the award- winning B.R.I.M. program will also be provided. No registration required.
