LEADERSHIP SKILLS FOUNDATION Leaders of
the future The Leadership Skills Foundation provides a comprehensive collection of awards and qualifications for both primary and secondary settings, empowering schools to equip young people with life-enhancing leadership skills. Programmes range from skills development in STEM, sports, the environment, e-sports and dance leadership. The Shape Your Skills Award, designed especially to help seven to 11 year olds begin their skills development journey, focuses on introducing pupils to five skills: communication, teamwork, problem solving, organisation and confidence.

HAPPY BY NATURE
A walk on the wild side Happy By Nature is a new schools programme from WWF created especially for primary-aged children. The ambition is to reach a million children across the UK by 2028, helping schools embed outdoor activities into everyday learning, and giving children a daily dose of nature. Schools are invited to sign up and get access to the charity’s Happy By Nature hub – they’ll be able to explore the free resources which are designed to support nature-rich learning and outdoor learning

The classroom pack includes a poster, pupil passports, panda pawprint stamp and stickers, along with adaptable activities aligned with the curriculum and interactive live lessons with wildlife presenters on location. Pupils are awarded stamps and stickers in return for completing activities, and they’ll earn a certificate from WWF Ambassador Steve Backshall when they complete their Happy By Nature journey.
