Spring is the time of year when we often feel a sense of renewal. Budding trees, chirping birds, flowers emerging from winter slumber, and the celebration of Easter, bring joy and hope for the chance to start anew.
PRESIDENT & CEO FROM THE
T
his year, as we emerge from a time of great uncertainty due to COVID-19, the longing for reopening and rebirth has brought an even greater energy to this season. Residents, clients, team members
and families, who have diligently supported our efforts to keep each other safe and healthy throughout the pandemic, are now experiencing greater opportunities to be together. For this, we are grateful.
Cultivating Collaboration is the theme of this issue of FLOURISH. Landis Communities has been blessed with wonderful neighbors like Friendship Community and Miesse Candies. Teir locations in Steeple View Lofts have enhanced the lives of residents. We are also happy to welcome the KPETS office to the Landis Homes campus, and are grateful for ways they promote well-being through the fun of human and animal interaction.
Troughout this issue you will read the stories of residents, clients and team members who are sharing their passions in a way that honors and brings joy to others. Teir commitment and callings are demonstrated as they teach and serve those around them.
A unique perspective is found in the story of future residents of Landis Place on King. Tese longtime friends, and soon-to-be neighbors, have a love for the city and all it has to offer.
Finally, please take a moment to read the exciting plans for Welsh Mountain Home. Renovations to be funded through the Centuries Campaign will provide residents the spaces needed for their ongoing safety and care.
May these stories and this season bring you a renewed spirit and hope for new beginnings.
