When Sonja Evans moved into Mountain View Terrace, she not only received the blessing of living there, but she also became a blessing to the residents and staff.

onja is no stranger to Pennsylvania. Born and raised in Robesonia, Berks County, she was living in Florida when she applied for Mountain View Terrace. She


sent her application for housing to community manager, Jane Wilt. Because of Mountain View Terrace’s extensive waiting list, Sonja had been praying for three years to get in. As her 70th birthday neared in August 2020, Sonja started to pray, “Lord, 70 is a nice number. It’d be great to be accepted on my birthday.”
