Navigator for Landis Communities, are working together downtown to bring innovative fitness opportunities to older adults. Trough the “Strong Choices, Bright Futures” initiative, Landis Communities and Bright Side offer group fitness sessions designed to help adults 55+ stay strong, mobile, and independent longer.

Classes take place at Landis Place on King on Mondays at 5 p.m. and Fridays at 10 a.m., with 8–15 residents typically attending. Tese sessions go beyond physical fitness; they create connections, reduce isolation, and introduce residents to new community resources and events like volunteer opportunities, social gatherings, and even a senior powerlifting team.

Sally notes, “Together we are bringing these key drivers of good health directly to communities that need it most. We are empowering those we serve to lead healthier, more active lives.”
