RSM Lining Supplies Unveils First CP308 Tested Resin in 17 Years— And Pioneers the First CP655 Tested Resin Ever!

We are proud to announce the introduction of the first CP308 tested resin to the UK Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) market in over 17 years, and one of the first CP655 tested resins in existence!

Responding to increasing industry demand, we have developed two innovative resins that not only meet but exceed the rigorous requirements of the CP308 and new CP655 infiltration tests —offering contractors reliable, long pot-life products designed to reduce water infiltration in sewerage systems. This marks a significant milestone, as our Hot Cure Epoxy resin is one of the first resins to successfully pass the CP655 test.

sewer rehabilitation industry. They evaluate the effectiveness of CIPP lining systems in resisting water infiltration, ensuring they can seal both wide and narrow circumferential gaps. Our Warm Cure and Hot Cure Epoxy resins have been rigorously tested and passed under challenging conditions, including bonding directly to wet pipes without the need for additional sealing mechanisms, and providing a fully leak-tight finish even in complex installations involving lateral reinstatements.

During our Open Day in September 2023, Phil Steele, our Sales Director, reiterated our commitment to addressing the industry’s challenges. Our Warm Cure Epoxy passed the CP308 test in January 2024, marking the first such achievement since 2007, whilst the Hot Cure Epoxy

was one of the first resins to pass the CP655 test in September 2024.

Led by our Product Development Manager, Simon Bull, our technical team meticulously conducted CP308 testing at our headquarters and CP655 testing at the WRc test centre. This process required the resins to demonstrate resilience by bonding to wet pipes and successfully sealing multiple pipe connections, proving their effectiveness across various installation scenarios.

With previous CP308 tested systems no longer widely available, the launch of our CP308 & CP655 tested resins arrives at a critical time for the industry. High levels of water infiltration in sewerage systems continue to strain pumping stations, increasing energy
