The UK Build-to-Rent (BTR) has experienced rapid expansion in recent years throughout the country. BTR is now the second largest housing sector in the UK, accounting for 19% of the market, and is expected to reach 25% by 2021. Increasing house prices pre-2007 and the struggling sales market in the recession underpinned the growth of the rental market for the active choice renters and frustrated home owners.
