PERFECT SKIN

It’s the classic pub quiz question; ‘What’s the largest organ of the human body?’. The answer, of course, is your skin. But how much do we do to keep our 20 square feet or so of body cover in good order? Membership-based skin clinic, Skinsmiths, believes we should take more care.

S

kinsmiths is on a mission is to give everyone access to skin confidence. They provide a range of subscription-based treatment plans which include skin health, laser hair removal and cosmetic injectables and have opened nine

clinics in less than a year.

While the membership model has been widely used by gyms, this is a first for the skincare sector. Vishav Roma, the brand’s commercial property director, explains: “We believe that one-off beauty treatments simply do not work. So, our solution is to offer ongoing, individually- tailored treatment plans which we know will provide long-lasting results”.

Skinsmiths invites customers in for a complimentary skin consultation with one of their experts. After that, a personalised plan is prepared and clients who wish to proceed sign-up on a monthly payment basis. With this ‘skin-journey’ strategy, it is tapping into the current trend for an increase in demand for less invasive, non-surgical treatments which can help people get the aesthetic change they’re looking for, without the high one-off costs or longer recovery times associated with cosmetic surgery.

Roma is tasked with fleshing out the firm’s ambitious expansion plans and to cater for the predicted high level of demand he has been working round the clock to deliver

“WE BELIEVE THAT ONE- OFF BEAUTY TREATMENTS SIMPLY DO NOT WORK.”
