Colliers’ Out of Town Retail Agency & Development team has been appointed as joint letting agents for a 250,000 sq ft designer outlet development located at the iconic Scotch Corner junction of the A1 (M).


Colliers’ Robin Raban-Williams reports: “Construction at Scotch Corner Designer Village will start next spring and it will be open for trading at Christmas 2019. It is anticipated to be in the UK’s top five outlet centres with a forecasted 3.3m annual shopper visits”.


The village will comprise 92 retail units; 10 eating & drinking outlets operators; parking for 1,300 cars; recreational areas for families and children; an advanced leisure offering; and innovative technology.
