WEAVING THE ARM Using a basket weave, wire wrap down the fi nal length of the arm, making sure not to pull too tightly, but ensuring that the wraps are close to the ones above it.

Repeat on the remaining fi ve arms. 15


15: WHAT A BIND Bind the inner circle to the outer circle. Wrap twice around the inner circle wire only, then wrap twice encasing both the inner and outer circle. Repeat this wrap if necessary until you reach the centre point between two of the snowfl ake’s arms. Once you have reached the centre point, thread on one of the blue beads and allow approximately 3cm of wire between the bead and the base of the circle. Bend the wire back down to the circle so that the bead is in the bend at the top.

AND THREADING Cut a 150cm length of 28 gauge wire and fi nd the approximate centre point. At the centre point make a few wraps around the inner circle, close the centre arm to anchor your wire. Leave the remaining 75cm tail for later.


Next, thread on one of your crystal beads and anchor it across the join of the inner and outer circle the same way you did to attach the crystal on the cross of the arm. Note: This step will be repeated for each arm and space between the arms.
