e start 2024 by looking back at 2023. Businesses had their challenges, just like every year. Events across the country are now happening, as the confidence grows
with people wanting to socialise. The world of communicating and doing business by meeting face-to-face has returned. The Welding World Association returned to their popular
Association Network Meetings. During October 2023, we held meetings in Manchester hosted by Wilkinson Star and in Rugby at the facilities of GYS. We thank both Association Members for kindly hosting these events at their premises. The attending members enjoyed a day of information with updates covering what is happening in the world of welding, renewing, and making new contacts. Both of our member hosts provided refreshments and a tour of their very impressive locations. The meetings certainly left everyone feeling motivated with ideas.
Welding World Association will be holding more of the
Association Network Meetings during 2024. If you would be interested to have a meeting at your company, please let me know. The very popular MACH 2024 is back at the NEC, Birmingham from
15 to 19 April. Make sure you put this date in your calendar. If you were only going to visit one engineering exhibition in 2024, then this is the one not to miss! Welding World Association and magazine has a stand booked in the Welding Zone for the whole week. It would be a pleasure to meet with you. We will also feature a ‘Membership’ day on the Wednesday, more in formation will be released soon. Enjoy reading this edition of the Welding World Magazine.
