SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN UNVEILS NEW DATE IN SEPTEMBER 2023
SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN will not be held in 2021. The new date for the leading international trade fair for joining, cutting and coating is September 11 to 15, 2023. Lack of planning certainty and international travel restrictions are the decisive reasons for this year’s cancellation “SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN gathers trade visitors from over 120 countries,” said Oliver P. Kuhrt, Managing Director of Messe Essen. “In view of the current travel restrictions, we will not be able to live up to the claim of a leading world trade fair this year. Added to this is the lead time of several months for our exhibitors, who present complex high- tech plants on elaborately designed trade fair stands. At present, we cannot offer our customers the necessary planning security. With the new trade fair date in 2023, we are fulfilling the industry’s justified expectations of a world-leading trade fair worthy of the name.” It is hoped that when the new date comes, companies and decision-makers from all over the world will meet at Messe Essen to exchange information on the latest innovations, services and research
