Invitation to connect with your soul
Many of you already have self-care or spiritual practices that help feed and nurture your soul. You may also find elements of your life that are in need of pruning. Te following journal prompts invite you to go within and notice once again how your soul needs attention.
In light of this past year’s unexpected places, ask your soul what it needs from you or what it wants to tell you.
What are some areas of self-care or spiritual practice that have truly fed your heart, soul, mind, and body?
What are ways you have nourished your soul that have been neglected last year but would bless you if you returned to them? What are some that used to bring you joy but no longer do? What is that teaching you about your soul and what it needs right now?
What self-care or spiritual practices bring you closer to God and yourself?
Invitation to connect with God
Review your responses and share them with God in conversation. Notice the movement of your heart and what has your attention. Tell God about your experience and what it means to you. Ten, invite God to share what it means to God. Write some notes about it in your journal.
