Tis time of year is one of the best for getting involved in community and charity work. It is, after all, the season of goodwill. Here are three ways to involved with your local community, help others and spread some festive cheer this winter.
Be a pitch perfect volunteer If you’re a fan of grassroots sports, you may be surprised to know that 1.4 million more UK children could be taking part in activities such as football and rugby each week, if only community pitches were better cared for. community are still able to get their Christmas shopping done,” she adds. “Whether this means going along with them for company or support, or doing it for them, it’s a great way to give some real help.”
