ASTA news MEMBERS INFO
Valuable research available to Premium Members
As a new benefit, ASTA’s Premium

2016 ASTA Labor and Compensation Report From employment trends to compensation models, you’ll have special insight into classifications, recruitment of travel agents and the Department of Labor (DOL) plans for overtime.
Independent Agents Report: 2016 Edition Tis report outlines data from a survey with NACTA members surrounding operational trends, commission structure and host agency relationships within the independent agent community.
CONSUMER LEADS
Get the lead on your clients Te Consumer Lead Board is a
service provided by ASTA to help connect consumers with travel agents. Consumers visiting
TravelSense.org can post details about a trip they would like to take and member agents can view the postings in a password-protected section of
asta.org and respond online.
Trip details Te form the consumer fills out
covers a lot of ground. While they’re encouraged to provide as many details as possible (pets, car rentals, vegetarian meals, etc.), the information shown in the list view is all they’re required to post. Tough the form was developed to allow posters to be succinct, the Trip Description is perhaps the most valuable bit of information on the page, with a lot of the detail necessary for planning.
