PAID CONTENT FOR SAGECLIFFE RESORT & SPA

Sagecliffe Resort & Spa WASHINGTON STATE, UNITED STATES

Sagecliffe Resort & Spa is located within the heart of Washington State’s wine and whiskey country, set amongst working vineyards. The resort covers 180 acres, perching cliff-side on a desert plateau with majestic views of the Columbia River where the topography is carved by the ancient Missoula floods. The desert climate provides 300-plus days of sunshine per year and is only a 2.5-hour drive from either Seattle or Spokane. The resort is an outdoor adventure playground,

adjacent to an additional 6,500 acres of public lands. It’s the perfect location to explore the great outdoors before relaxing in the spa or with a glass of wine. Guest can make use of pickleball and tennis courts, a cliff-side pool, hiking trails, mountain biking routes through Ancient Lakes Wildlife Refuge and rock climbing in Frenchman Coulee Recreational Area. The Spa at Sagecliffe provides holistic treatments

using environmentally friendly products from Éminence and SkinCeuticals skincare brands. Experiences include an outdoor sauna, yoga and Pilates sessions, nature walks and snow-shoeing.

The accommodation was designed by award-

winning architects from Olson Kundig, with the intention of blending the building into the cliffs. The accommodation is set among the vines and desert landscape and offers a wide range of options, from private cliff-side casitas and cavern rooms built into the rock to ultra-modern one- and two- bed homes. If guests want something more rustic, they can stay in yurts nestled among the vines. The resort embodies a farm-to-table philosophy

for its restaurant, The Fox & Quail Whiskey Bar and on-site winery. Unique food experiences include whiskey and wine paired dinners, local wine tasting competitions and breakfast in the vineyard during the annual grape harvesting. The resort is also a home of great music,

featuring an interactive vinyl record wall where you can listen to your favourite albums. You can also catch performances by up-and-coming local musicians at the weekends. The property borders the legendary Gorge Amphitheatre, a famous outdoor concert venue that’s home to one-of-a-kind experiences during summer.

DON’T MISS Enjoy an unforgettable wine-tasting experience in the Sagecliffe Cellars tasting room
