The Capaldi Hotel Restaurant & Spa MARRAKECH, MOROCCO
The Capaldi is a countryside boutique resort in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains with spectacular views of the peaks and the Agafay Desert. Marrakech is only around a 35-minute drive away. There are 24 rooms and suites scattered
throughout the gardens, as well as two villas with private pools. All feature super-king beds, Egyptian cotton sheets, open fireplaces and fibre optic internet. The communal pools — one of which is heated
— are surrounded by olive trees, rose bushes and palm trees. Double beds take the place of traditional sunloungers, with parasols and pavilions providing shade. The hotel’s renowned restaurant serves
a combination of international cuisine and traditional Moroccan dishes. The lunch menu is based around light snacks, salads and sandwiches, all of which can be enjoyed on the terraces, while the dinner menu changes daily. Vegetarian and vegan options are available upon request. The restaurant’s bread is freshly baked every morning and is served with The Capaldi’s bespoke olive oil.
Cocktails are served poolside, on the roof terraces or in the bar. Once guests have had enough relaxation time,
there are numerous exciting activities on offer, including horse- and camel-riding through the Agafay Desert, zooming around the dunes on buggies, water-skiing on Lake Takerkoust, setting off on guided hikes of the Atlas Mountains or having lunch at a local Amazigh village home. Day trips to Marrakech can be organised upon request. Back at the hotel, guests can make use of a fitness room, badminton court, pétanque, cinema and library. The Capaldi Wellness Spa is the perfect place for
unwinding. There are multiple treatment rooms where guests can enjoy traditional massages, reflexology, hot stone massage, facials, pedicures and manicures. The traditional marble hammam offers a rejuvenating detoxifying experience, using 100% natural products, including black soap and seaweed wraps. All massage oils are by wellness brand Nectarome, from its organic farms in the Ourika Valley.
DON’T MISS Indulge in a serene hot stone massage before setting off on a long walk exploring the beautiful natural environment
