Château Gassies BORDEAUX, FRANCE
Château Gassies is an 18th-century French chateau that’s just 25 minutes from Mérignac airport and 15 minutes from Bordeaux’s train station. Developed as a small resort and run as a boutique hotel, it’s an idyllic place to stay for a few days in a quiet environment in understated luxury, while exploring Bordeaux and its famous vineyards. The chateau itself was built in 1775 amid 35 acres
of lush parkland. After four years of complete and meticulous renovation, Château Gassies opened its doors in 2019. A dedicated team are at your service to organise tailored and memorable stays. Guests can enjoy large and elegantly furnished
B&B suites for a minimum of one night or one of three lovely self-catering cottages for a minimum of two nights. All rooms are spacious, light-filled and exquisitely decorated with authentic French antiques. It’s also possible to rent out the entire property, accommodating up to 43 guests. After a lovely traditional French breakfast,
guests can stroll in the immaculate lush grounds, play a game of boules or simply enjoy the beautiful views over Bordeaux and the Garonne River.
More active-minded guests can enjoy all-day
access to the tennis court, basketball court and gym. The stunning 60ft heated infinity pool is the perfect spot for cooling down afterwards while taking in the spectacular view. Little ones will be kept well entertained in the large playground with climbing frame, swings, slides and trampoline. For complete rejuvenation and blissful
