Mutiara Laut INDONESIA

A luxury yacht charter offers the opportunity to enjoy tailored indulgence and privacy unlike any other type of holiday. With Mutiara Laut, breathtaking scenery, exquisite tranquillity and sumptuous luxury are combined as guests explore the beautiful Indonesian archipelago. This stately 150ft two-mast yacht is specifically

designed to provide an idyllic charter experience in Indonesian waters. The vessel is based on an 18th-century North Atlantic schooner, along with some local Indonesian influence, namely the traditional ‘phinisi’ boat. Mutiara Laut features a saloon with a lounge

and dining area. A stately midship stairway with hand-crafted pillars and exquisitely sculpted handrails leads to the staterooms on the lower deck. The saloon is fully air-conditioned and equipped with a large TV and library. Imagine sumptuous menus planned according

to guests’ desires; watersports and activities during the day; and, at sunset, an idyllic massage with fragrant oils on the aft deck of Mutiara Laut, followed by a cocktail or two with friends.

Indonesia is one of the world’s biggest

archipelagos, with 17,000 islands extending 3,200 miles from east to west. The best way to discover it all is on Mutiara Laut, which allows guests to visit destinations such as Komodo, Banda and Raja Ampat. The yacht serves as the perfect base for diving

and snorkelling. Indonesia is one of the world’s finest diving sites and there are PADI instructors onboard, as well as full diving equipment. Another exciting proposition is embarking on

an adventure in the province of Papua in eastern Indonesia. Mutiara Laut makes regular visits to the Asmat tribe near the Brazza River in Papua, along which the ‘tree people’ of the Korowai and Kombai tribes also live. Guests can explore and visit these three tribes, who live on small islands on the western part of the island. One of the Asmat tribe’s sacred beliefs is that

their ancestors arose out of wood. It occupies a central space in their culture and tradition, with one of the most culturally and artistically rich woodcarving traditions in the Pacific.

Don’t miss A cruise through the Dampier Straits to Manta Sandy — a wonderful place to observe Manta Rays performing their cleaning ritual
