Calabash Cove ST LUCIA
Calabash Cove is a small, luxury boutique resort on the beautiful island of St Lucia, where the focus is on providing guests with an experience founded on intimate, personalised and caring service. The resort has three different room styles to choose from, all with views of the Caribbean Sea: nine Waters Edge Cottages with pool, four Swim Up Jr Suites and 13 Sunset Oceanview Jr Suites. All rooms with ocean views face the Caribbean sunset and feature a balcony or patio, king-size beds, free wi-fi, cable TV, in-room bar, jacuzzi, rain shower and double vanity. The all-inclusive offering covers all meals and beverages including room service, daily specials (such as a lobster dish when its in season), premium drinks, more than 20 wines from the wine list and tips. The property is designed to immerse visitors
in a complete lifestyle experience combined with bespoke and attentive service in an unobtrusive, laid-back atmosphere. The experience starts on arrival, when guests are ushered to a striking marble-tiled lobby showcasing amazing views.
The resort’s restaurant, Windsong, offers
a fusion of Caribbean and French cuisine, including numerous vegan options. This is also where you can savour your morning coffee with mind-blowing views and enjoy sundowners while watching the stars appear as the sun dips below the horizon. St Lucia offers up a cornucopia of adventure,
culture and history. Visitors can try zip-lining through the forest, scuba diving, sailing, whale and dolphin watching, climbing the Pitons and, depending on the time of year, carnival and a host of other festivals. St Lucia has a rich culture and heritage
influenced by different periods in its history. Originally inhabited by Carib and Arawak Indigenous people, St Lucia became strategically important during wars between England and France. Their legacy is apparent in the names of various landmarks and the patois spoken on the island. The subsequent arrival of West Africans in the Caribbean signalled the beginning of the Creole culture that’s prevalent today.
