Care leavers: you aren’t forgotten
There are Young People Spending Christmas Alone, but You Can Show Them They’re Not Forgotten
While many gather with loved ones during the festive season, countless care leavers face it in isolation. Comfort Cases UK works to remind them they aren’t alone. For young people leaving the care
system, Christmas can feel achingly empty. With no family to share the day with, many experience not only loneliness but also the stark realities of fi nancial hardship and isolation. T at’s why last year, Comfort Cases
UK created 150 Care Leaver Hampers, thoughtfully packed with essentials and small luxuries: toiletries, choco- lates, hot water bottles, supermarket and days out vouchers, cosy socks and blankets, even mindful colour- ing books and small card games. Each hamper was designed to be a simple but powerful reminder that someone cares. T ese hampers don’t erase the care
challenges leavers face, but
they do send a vital message: you are not forgotten. T is Christmas, you can help Com-
fort Cases UK reach even more young people. For care leavers, Christmas isn’t always magic, but your kindness can help bring light. Scan the QR code to choose your preferred way to donate.

Christmas is the season to create magic, excitement and unbounded joy for children — moments that rip- ple through the year ahead and form lasting family memories. Yet for many vulnerable children, Christmas am- plifi es the hardships they face daily. Delight
redresses the balance
through magical creative experiences that bring joy, excitement and pride into disadvantaged children’s lives year-round, levelling the playing fi eld towards happier, brighter futures. By working closely with primary
schools, which increasingly serve as vital community hubs, Delight’s sup- port reaches the most vulnerable chil- dren in the place where they spend most of their time outside the home. Delight’s experiences proactively
engage families and the communi- ties around children, creating shared memories that truly transform lives.

Something To Look Forward To
The secret weapon to tackling food insecurity
No parent should have to go hungry so their child can eat. Yet this is the reality for millions of families across England
More than seven million adults and 2.6 million children in England face food insecurity, unsure if they’ll have enough to eat. Almost half of T e Bread and Butter T ing’s members have less than £50 left each month after paying essential bills, with many struggling to cope with the increased pressure of the current cost of living. T e Bread and Butter T ing
works with major food producers to save surplus produce from going to waste. In the past year alone, it
redistributed 9,000 tons of food through a network of 150 food clubs — supporting 100,000 members by providing aff ordable, nutritious food. T is means families are able to save money, eat well and access support with dignity. Follow the QR code or head to
the website to donate today and help T e Bread and Butter thing put food on the tables that need it most this Christmas
