www.nitravelnews.com SOAK UP SUNNY SALOU
March 2026
1- Take a pen and paper or phone and
write down: the best sunsets can be seen from the viewpoints of La Bocana, Po Roig, Punta Prima and Punta del Cavall. 2- Whether for bathing or strolling along the shore in any season of the year, Salou has 9 beaches full of services and fully adapted. In addition, there are up to 25 beaches and coves of all sizes in the municipality. 3- The Jaume I promenade is home to the Snails, Cybernetic, Labyrinth and Illuminated
fountains,
as well as our giant Landmark,
sculptures
and monuments such as the dona Puntaire, King Jaume I and Pilons. But did you know that we have the King Jaume I digital gymkhana to spend a fun hour with the family trying to solve it? 4- Bring your snorkeling gear: a mask and snorkel (or goggles) and fins. Vinya and Font Cove offer one of the most natural and ideal environments for snorkeling, with almost crystal- clear waters. 5- Our iconic modernist-
style Chalet Bonet, located at the beginning of Jaume I Promenade, designed by one of Antoni Gaudí’s disciples is one of the most Instagrammed places in the town. Do you upload your photo with the hashtag #visitsalou? 6- Cap Salou is an area of great natural, historical and geological interest. Places like the beach of Penya Tallada, the park of Cala Morisca or the wild beach of Reguerot with the path along the Talaia may be its best examples. 7- For those who enjoy good food, the
destination offers a wide range of options, with all kinds of cuisine: Mediterranean, international, and tapas. There is even a Michelin- starred restaurant, one of only four on the Costa Dorada. 8- The Coastal Path is a route of almost 10kms
that runs along the entire Mediterranean coastline of the coast of Salou. The route can be complemented with many of the newly opened and spectacular viewpoints! 9- Attention golf lovers! Salou has,
thanks to
the Infinitum Golf courses, 2 18-hole courses for professional players but also
1 9-hole course for amateurs. And if you want to complete your
day, the Infinitum Beach Club is a place to relax with its infinity pools. 10-
Salou also has buildings with
history such as the monument to Jaume I, the monument to the Fishermen on the quay, Pilons or the Torre Vella, an old defence tower built in 1530 which has now been converted into a cultural centre dedicated to hosting art exhibitions. Additionally, Salou has lots of bars, pubs (including many English/Irish-style ones) and nightlife options, especially if you go in the warmer months. It’s known for a wide, diverse nightlife scene with everything from relaxed bars and beach terraces to lively pubs and clubs. Ah! And don’t forget that throughout the year we are accompanied by events such as the famous Cós Blanc in February,
the great triathlon in April,
the Nits Daurades in August, the King Jaume I festival in September or the Rally
of in
Catalonia October.
And all these plans,
accompanied with the fun parks
Port
Aventura World and Ferrari Land, of course!
always
