Aer Lingus Launches Starlink Bringing Faster Wi-Fi to the Skies
AER Lingus has introduced Starlink
to it’s first aircraft, delivering ultrafast Wi-Fi to passengers.
The introduction marks a major step for improved customer experience, enabling passengers to access free, fast, reliable internet throughout their flight. Paving the way, equipped with the new technology was Aer Lingus’ airbus A330, EI‑EIN. Following extensive testing the aircraft prepared for it’s first customer flight.
A phased rollout will begin to equip
all Aer Lingus aircraft with Starlink and is expected to be available across the airline’s long‑haul fleet by 2027. The launch of Starlink builds on Aer
Lingus’ commitment to digital innovation, following significant investment in its mobile app and Express Bag Drop kiosks. Lynne Embleton, Chief Executive Officer,
