MSC WORLD AMERICA TO OFFER 19 DIFFERENT CABIN OPTIONS
MSC Cruises’ newest flagship, MSC World America, will offer a world of choice with 19 different cabin types, so that every guest can choose comfortable accommodation to meet their needs. These range from super luxurious over 150m2
Owner’s Suites in the MSC Yacht Club and Duplex Suites with a dedicated entertainment space, to beautiful balcony cabins with ocean views and interior cabins that offer further value for money – plus family cabins which join together to create flexible accommodation options for larger groups. MSC World America represents an important evolution for the cruise line’s successful World Class platform and will usher in a new world of cruising with re-imagined venues and concepts tailored specifically to the U.S. market. The new flagship will also be the first to feature seven on board districts designed to let guests of all ages choose their own holiday adventure and get the most out of their time on board.

Irish Kids Want Holidays with The Whole Family, Gran Included
YOUNG holidaymakers are all about adven- ture, and bringing the whole family along is at the top of their lists. That’s according to a new survey which polled
1,000 children across Ireland aged six to 11 and found nearly half of kids enjoy their holidays even more when their grandparents join in on the fun. The responses show children are eager to
make their next getaway a full-family experience, with 52% of respondents wishing to travel with grandma and 48% with grandad. According to the survey, 69% of young ones say the extra fun that comes with having grandparents along for the adventure is their top reason for wanting them on holiday. Beyond the laughs, kids also look forward to the special memories they’ll make (48%) and the cool activities they can enjoy together (45%). In addition, two fifths of participants admit
they love being spoilt with presents when travelling with their grandparents (40%), while 25% look forward to a little extra pampering with longer playtime. The research further reveals that children’s
ideal holiday lasts 11 days, packed with four different activities every day – adding up to 44 ways to keep kids entertained. The top activities include swimming (77%), visiting a water park (73%) and zooming down the slides (63%). Kids also love exploring new places (45%), trying new and different foods (42%), riding rollercoasters (48%) and even zip lining (37%). And to top off all the adventuring, 55% of kids prioritise quality time and having fun with the
family – including spending more than four hours a day with grandparents. Kids Are Also Enjoying a Digital Detox More highlights from the survey show 52% of kids admit they use tablets and phones less on holiday—they’re simply too busy having fun. Making new friends is also a key holiday highlight for 88% of children, bringing new experiences and in-person
