Y ou read that correctly. ICI Meeting & Event Planner, Barbara Tiseo and I will be in Santander, Spain for this


year’s EICF Technical Conference and Exhibition. We are looking forward to the first EICF International Conference held in person since the start of the Pandemic. This speaks to recovery, renewal and hope, and we are excited to share this experience with you. Our role in Santander is simple.


First, we are there to


support our fellow trade association. As many of you know, EICF and the ICI solidified an agreement in 2018 to unify the shared focus of our two organizations, as well as expand the global reach of INCAST Magazine. Second, we will be there to promote the 15th World Conference on Investment Casting. When arriving at Santander, delegates can find Barbara


working side-by-side with Julie Boyce at the registration desk. My official capacity will kick in on Monday morning with the conference where


I will be discussing the North American


market for investment castings, as well as sharing my view of the global perspective. The materials that I will be discussing have been updated since the January article that appeared in


INCAST. I will also touch on some of the markets that were not covered in that article. During the Exhibition, Barbara and I will be handing out


literature pertinent to the World Conference and answering any questions. Please stop by booth 31 to learn about this global event hosted by the Investment Casting Institute, the European Casters’ Federation and the Japanese Foundry Society to be held in Anaheim, California this August. We will have registration materials on hand.
