Next in our Webinar Series... The Passion for Advanced Manufacturing and Additive Technologies,

Don Deptowicz and Paul Finelt May 15, 2024, 1-2 pm ET

S

ince our last AM4IC Symposium in Cleveland in March 2023, we have started making pathways

forward in expanding our understanding and implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies. The use of many of these paradox

additive tools are at a transitional technology readiness level and available for our factories today. The Investment Casting Institute

was one of three award winners of the IMPACT Project Call (2023) by America Makes (National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute).

We are living in a fantastic time, and to be able to witness people connecting, collaborating and developing strategies to

transform our current capabilities

to drive change across all industrial domains is exciting. However, the challenge is still before us as the general theme has not changed over the past year.

If you remember, I had stated that

industry is in a “Parts Apocalypse”. This past August in Pittsburgh, I stated at the ICI Technical Conference that we have not contained the problem and that we have further deteriorated to a level of “Parts Apocalypse-Cubed”.

It is up to us to take advantage of opportunities like this to catalyze, inspire and amplify changes across our supply “trains”. Trains move, and chains only hold.

In this Roundtable Webinar, we will be hearing from cross-industry leaders that are stepping out to break barriers in many areas, sharing what can and has been done in a collaborative and innovative manner.

brilliance in

the C-Suite—it requires collective intelligence. While shared leadership is often pursued to mitigate the solitude of high-stakes roles, many executives still find "it is lonely at the top." This isolation persists even among colleagues in leadership positions, underscoring the unique challenges of C-suite roles. In response to this, peer advisory

boards have emerged as a revolutionary approach to leadership development, offering a platform for executives across various functions to leverage the power of diverse perspectives. These forums provide a space for leaders to candidly share challenges, brainstorm solutions, and receive support from trusted peers, all while circumventing the complexities of in-house politics. The experience of participating in a peer

group is unparalleled, offering insights and camaraderie that are often absent in traditional executive settings. Join Josef Martens for a dynamic

session where a panel of tech executives—each a member of a peer group—will share their personal journeys within these transformative circles. They will discuss the profound impact these groups have had on both their personal growth and business success, along with practical advice for those curious about exploring peer groups to accelerate their own growth aspirations.
